UPDATE! Check out the Meatballs! Kroger Ad Week Mega Sale! 1/22-1/28 Sneak Peak

Kroger is having a mega sale this week. This is similar to Meijer's 10 for 10 get the eleventh free but the catch at kroger is when you buy 10 sale items $5 comes off you bill. Simply put every item in the Mega Sale is 50 cents off if you buy 10 participating products. You can mix and match. Usually there is a limit on how many Mega deals you can do in a visit so check your add carefully and make lots of trips.

Sadly there are not a lot of items included in the Mega Sale this week that have coupon matches and some Krogers are enforcing their policy of only doubling two like coupons so if you plan to buy 10 boxes of kleenex you may not get all your coupons doubled.

I am going to only the deals I think are stockup worthy.

Mega Deal items:

12oz Kraft singles and 8 oz cheese bars and shreds are 1.99-.50 mega sale if you buy 10-$1.49

Kleenex is $1.49-.50=.99 when you buy 10 participating products .50/3 coupons are out and my friend at the Pantry Blog tells me there are .40/1 coupons out on the lotion variety if these are included.

El Montery Taquitos are $5.49-.50=4.99 Coupons are coming out Sunday

Quaker Instant Oatmeal is 2.69-.50-2.19 1.35/2 coupons are out or $1/1 for the high fiber

Nature Valley and Fiber One bars are 2.69-.50=2.19 There are several .50/1 coupons out

(Thank You reikifeet for these deals) Here are more mega sales I missed!:

French's Spicy Brown will .25 after the coupon on mega sale

Triscuits & Wheat thins will be $.75 a box after this Sunday's coupon and mega sale

Select Harvest soups .75

***Also Armour Meatball are included. $2.49-.50mega-.55coupon=$1.40 When you buy 4 in one order you get a $2 off your next order catalina!

Other Good Deals:

Ground Chuck is $1.77lb

Kroger ice cream (which is very good by the way) is $1.88

They also have nice prices on cantaloupe and blueberries considering they are out of season

Marsh Breakfast Deals 1/22-1/28

Meijer Sale Week 1/22-1/28 Check out the Super Saturday!

It will be a much calmer this week at Meijer than last. Perhaps I can fix my grocery budget this week. Hope everyone got rainchecks yesterday.

Orville Redenbacher is 1/2 off and there are coupons out for $1/2

Kelloggs cereal looks very promising! The sale price is $2.50ec for large boxes-$2 instantly at the register when you purchase 4-$1 coupons these can end up being a $1 a box provided the varieties on sale match our coupons

South Beach Bars are free with this $2 printable coupon

The highlight of the week is definitely the Super Saturday Sale!

How's it Going, Tuesday

I think it's going great but I am concerned we are down to our last 6 boxes to cereal. The freezer is looking low on meat and produce is really becoming a big challenge. I am also over budget from week 2 but the sales were to good this week to catch up. I am not expecting much the next to weeks unless we get the Kroger Mega Sale. I am actually hoping for some slow weeks can I spend money on produce and meat and hunt out some marked down bread for the freezer.

Husband is complaining we are out of ice cream, soap he likes (bought this at the dollar store), Jif (bought this for full price-painful for me) and he complained but my attempt to make the meat last longer. I think meal planning will help with his complaining.

Kids would like more produce (got some this week) and chicken fingers and pizza rolls (got these too).

CVS Deals 1/18-1/24 Great Deal on Pepsi

5 count CVS Allergy Relief ($3.79) is free after ECBs limit 2

Herbal Essence Shampoo and Conditioner is $2.99 get 1 ECB back
-There are $1 coupons out

Pepsi is the deal to get excited over. Several Pepsi and Frito Lay products are on sale.
When you buy $20 worth you receive $10 in ECB for your next visit. That's like getting
Pepsi products and chips for half off the already sale prices. Then here is the part I am
going to try for the first time. According to Little People Wealth if you buy 3 12 packs and 3
9 oz or larger bags of chips you can send in the form here and receive 5 $2 coupons on Pepsi products and 1 $3 and $2 coupon for Frito lay products. I've never tried a mail in rebate before
but I plan to give this one a try. The Pepsi deal is limit 1.

Aquafina Water 12 ct. 2 for $6
Gatorade /Propel/Sobe/Pepsi 2-L 4 for $5
Lays 10.5-11 oz. 2 for $6
Pepsi 12 pk. 4 for $12
Starbucks frappuchinno 3 for $5

Cool Tip: If you need to hit several CVS to get the kinds you like don't worry. Deals like these
are accumulative. As long as you buy the $20 within the week and use the same CVS card each
time the ECBs will print when you reach $20 no matter how many stores you shopped at.

Don't forget the January Freebees. The month is coming to a close.
